In Our Prayers

  • Kathy Bailey’s sister, Judy Barcus, is in ICU in Phoenix, AZ.  Please pray for no more perforation of her bowels and for her lungs to continue to improve.
  • Our prayers and sympathy are extended to the family of Helen Prather. Helen passed away April 30. Arrangements are being finalized for a memorial service to be held June 18.
  • Mary Rushing, long-time former member of Glenwood, passed away April 13 in Austin following a stroke. A Celebration of Life will be held at Westover Hills Church of Christ in Austin on Friday, May 20 at 1 p.m. 
  • James Rose is undergoing testing in preparation for cancer treatment.
  • Jeannine Howard’s friend, Tammy Swanner, has been diagnosed with cancer.
  • Long-time former member, Mary Gean Smyth, has been placed in Hospice at the facility where she resides.
  • Pat Noll (husband of Maria Albright-Noll) recently had successful triple bypass surgery. He is now recovering at home and we are thankful that he was able to join us this past Sunday.
  • Betty Gipson’s mother, Dorothy Butler, is at home recovering from a broken hip.
  • Dawn Bond has completed radiation and is moving to her next stage of treatment. We are grateful for all of your support, and encouragement. Stayed tuned to CaringBridge for further updates.

Prayers for people affected by the coronavirus:

  • Pray for people who are infected with COVID-19 or facing quarantine.
  • Pray for people at higher risk of developing the disease.
  • Pray for medical professionals, caregivers, and researchers responsible for fighting the new coronavirus.
